Should You Buy A Laptop With Mechanical Keyboard?
We feel that buying a laptop with a mechanical keyboard for now has quite a lot of risk. The purpose of a mechanical keyboard is to make it easier to maintain, easier to open, easier to customize and more.
In the list of laptops with mechanical keyboards above, we don’t find laptops that have a swappable host feature on their mechanical keyboard. We can conclude that, we don’t recommend a laptop with a mechanical keyboard, because the mechanical flexibility of the keyboard on a laptop is not as good as the mechanical keyboard in general. You cannot change switches or keycaps sets, nor can you lubricate or modify the stabilizer.
Laptops with mechanical keyboards are a combination of technologies that are still being developed. One day we hope to find a laptop with a mechanical keyboard that can provide the flexibility of modification like the mechanical keyboard build up.
